"Keep it Simple, Sweetie" with cooking - Home made vanilla bean ice cream

Home made ice cream is actually really easy to make and at least you know what is in it. Let me tell you right now. There is a lot of sugar in ice cream. ;). xx

 Ingredients:

1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups of cream
1-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste.

Method:

Place the milk into bowl.

 Add the sugar.

Whisk until they are combined.

Stir in the cream
 Add the vanilla.
I have an ice cream maker that I now place the mix in.

If you don't have a machine, just mix it for another few minutes then place in the freezer in an air tight container. To make it fluffier. Pull it out after it sets and scrap a spoon through it, then place it back in the freezer.
Mix in the machine for 1hour.

 Then place in the freezer.

Everyone will love it. This recipe has no egg in it, (a lot of ice cream recipes have raw egg), so this one will last longer in the freezer then egg based ice cream..............if the kids don't get it first. xx
