"Keep it Simple, Sweetie" with Craft - DIY jigsaw

It is so much easier these days to make games at home that can help with learning. Any question your kids ask you can be googled and any image can be found and printed out. Why wouldn't you do it.

Today we are making a map jigsaw. The map is of Australia because my kids have been real interested lately about where we live. The beauty of making it yourself is you can cut it into as many pieces you like. It is cheap and super easy.

1: Google the image you want. I just wrote in Australian map and then looked at images.

2: Print it out. I used thick white paper. So that it would last longer and so I didn't have to laminate it.
 3. Draw guide lines on the back, ready to cut out.
 4: Cut them out.
We cut them into 16 pieces.
Waa Laa. A great jigsaw and talking/ learning tool for your kids. xx
What Fun!!!

"Keep it Simple, Sweetie" - Choc Banana Pastry Rolls

These are super easy and have only a few ingredients. Something simple but special for dessert. My girls, 6 and 4, could do basically all of this themselves. Try it today.

Ingredients

2 pieces of puffed pastry
2 bananas
Nutella to spread
Honey to dribble

Method

Cut the pastry into thirds.

Spread the pastry with the Nutella. All over.

 Cut the banana into slices.

Place the banana slices in a line on each of the pieces of pastry.

Dribble with some honey. Just a little.

Roll up from one end making sure the banana stays in place.
Cook in the oven at 180 degrees for about 20mins or until golden brown.
Yummy Scummy. xx
